Technical description
Machine overview
SL applies elastic sleeves to medium and large containers with alternating motion and intermittent transport. It is used on kegs, crates, gas cylinders and canisters where a shrink sleeve would require heat, drying or higher energy; the stretch sleeve is pulled along the container by mechanical grippers and separated on the pre-perforation.
Stretch Sleeve technology advantages
- Cold process with no heat tunnel.
- No glue and lower energy consumption.
- Material reduction up to 30% where applicable.
- Label separable from the container for full recycling compatibility.
- 360-degree surface available for graphic communication.
- Lower environmental impact and carbon footprint than shrink solutions where applicable.
Main features
- For large formats: barrels, kegs, beer crates, gas cylinders, canisters and detergent containers.
- Applies stretch sleeves without glue, heat or a heat tunnel.
- Reduces energy use and maintenance compared with a shrink line with oven or tunnel.
- Label easily separable from the container for recycling.
